Fay Huang is an Associate Professor and Chair of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Ilan University, Taiwan. She graduated with a B.Sc. Degree in Science, a M.Sc. Degree in Pure Mathematics, and a Ph.D degree in 2002 from the Department of Computer Science, all at The University of Auckland, New Zealand. After graduation, she first worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of Information Science, Academic Sinica, in Taiwan, and then became an Assistant Professor at institute of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Ilan University, in 2006. Fay’s teaching and research areas include computer vision and computer graphics, among which she is particularly interested in applications related to virtual reality and computer art.
